Tiwest Nocturnal Bird Night Stalk Sep 1 - Oct 16
Choose a night to head out in the local area and take part in an annual national survey of native animals and their habitats. This year the survey is focusing on nocturnal birds. Derby River Derby Oct 24
Now in its 30th year, the race continues to attract thousands of people from Tasmania, with participants bringing their own lilos, dinghies, canoes, inflated tyre tubes and all sorts of water-craft and floating devices to try and beat their floating competitors in a down-stream race.
